Thank you !

This special edition of Music in the summer rose to the challenge in style, despite COVID19 and the changeable weather. The festival offered 32 concerts spread over eight weeks, free and in the open air. Two lush greenery and two stages for a return to live appreciated as much for the artists as for the public.

Thank you to you & thank you to the artists!

What a joy to be able to announce 32 concerts! To be able, after months of restrictions and lockdowns, to look forward to spending musical nights in good company, in one of our city’s beautiful parks.

Musiques en été, a Geneva festival that has been held in July and August for several decades, promises to transport us there – with the necessary adaptations to comply with current health standards of course, but also with the ever-present desire to offer musical discoveries and some quality time, and to combine artistic standards with accessibility.

From 6 July to 27 August, from Tuesday to Friday, at the Botanical Gardens and the Ella Fitzgerald Stage in Parc La Grange, musicians and ensembles will share their passion for music with us.

I would like to thank them, just as I would like to thank the programmers and the City’s organising teams for having navigated the current uncertainties to offer us a different, yet just as exciting musical summer.
